Food and Flower Garden
"Space to grow food" was the request for this garden, so while the garden East of the front path was designed with a bright palette of flowers, grasses and shrubs, the West side was mainly planted with raspberries, blueberries, and vegetables. An inviting porch overlooking the flower garden allows for friendly interaction with the neighbourhood.

The compact back garden has a barbeque/dining area, a hot tub with screened outdoor shower, and room for more herbs and vegetables. To give the back garden structure, we planted a mature small maple and a fig tree, while a dramatic entrance in front surrounded with a low boxwood hedge gives structure year-round. Throughout the garden, a combination of tumbled and square-cut bluestone pavers provides cohesion, while custom-designed lighting adds extra dimension at night.
